GO WITHIN WITH YIN: SPRING AFTERNOON


In the fast pace of modern life, it is so important for us to take the time to slow down and take care of ourselves before we burn out.  Yin Yoga is one practice that allows us to go within and rest. It allows us to find stillness on the mat and in our lives. It is a practice of mindfulness and letting go.

It is a great introduction and preparation for meditation; it is difficult to face your mind when all you can hear is your body. screaming.  We will conclude the session with a short sitting practice and tea.

No yoga experience is required for this small intimate event. Just bring an open mind.

MINDFUL EATING IN THE HOLIDAYS


Food is everywhere in the holiday season. And whether it be parties, family get togethers or work functions, it all seems to revolve around food!

Let's face it. We all indulge over the holidays! The secret is to have fun and not over do it which requires mindfulness and just a little willpower.

Join us for some simple and effective Japanese Yoga digestion poses and lifestyle tips to help get you through this holiday period without having a blowout!  We will finish with a light meal to implement some of the ideas and help you get started on your path to better health and digestion this holiday season!

A Breath of Spring: 2 hour WORKSHOP



Are you ready for Spring?


Winter have you feeling lethargic, depressed and worn out??

Are your hips and shoulders sore and tight?


Are your elbows and knees achey and stiff?


Reawaken your mind, body and spirit with a special 2 hour Japanese Yoga Workshop!


We will cover some seasonal postures to help give you new life, energy and direction for the coming season and beyond.
We will also look at some simple food and lifestyle changes to support your practice on the mat.


Spring is a time of change, of new growth and a celebration of having survived once more the cold of winter. 

In this 2 hour workshop, you will learn some essential yoga moves for Spring to reawaken mind, body and spirit as well as kickstart digestion for the warmer months ahead.  You will leave with a new sense of direction, feeling stronger and more supple as well as a new found spring in your step!
